Myrianthe Sozou lives and works between London, U.K and Limassol, Cyprus. She has a BFA in Fine Art and has completed her MA in Art and Science, both at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design London. In her site specific installations, Sozou maintains the honesty and aesthetics of simple industrial mass materials and explores their 'micro-macro' elements, as well as their reflective, distortive and alienating qualities. She has exhibited in galleries and in institutions such as the British Library and the Victoria & Albert Museum and her work is on a permanent display at Foyles bookstore in Soho, London. Currently, Sozou is preparing for her upcoming participations in group shows in London including a project in collaboration with the Wakehurst Millennium Seed Bank at Kew Gardens, UK. She will have her debut solo show in March 2014 at Morfi Gallery, Cyprus. She is the founder of a | m studio, a studio/gallery space in Cyprus. Find her at MyriantheSozou.com.
