Daniel Wroe was born on a houseboat. His genteel early childhood was thrust toward a life of art-making when his grandparents unexpectedly took him to Hooters wearing his Boy Scout uniform. He received a BFA in Painting and Drawing from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2010, and is a current candidate for an MFA in Art from the California Institute of the Arts. His greatest wish, and what would be his most astonishing feat of accomplishment would be to die of a self inflicted heart attack, induced by extreme physical exertion in an attempt to dig his own grave with a hammer, preceded by a month long burger binge marathon. He is one half of collaborative duo EARL GRAVY. Find him at danielwroe.com.
