But the fact is, I don’t know where or how or what she is doing.
Apparently, Jane had an enemy we didn’t know about. Some guy who ran against Levi in the election, and it’s possible she helped double-cross him to help Levi win. Maybe the guy has it in for her, and is messing with her somehow. That’s one theory.
Still, this is Jane we are dealing with. Impetuous, risk-taking, ethically compromised Jane. That knowledge of your mom’s character probably isn’t decreasing your concern, but really it should. It’s possible something less than stellar has happened to your mom, but it’s also possible she’s run off with some dude who has good hair and a way with women. (The opposite of me.) Jane could arrive home this evening looking suntanned and satiated.
On the other hand, the longer this goes on without our hearing from her, the less likely this is.
